Tiger, lion and bear form unusual
friendship ~ "Baloo the bear, Leo the Lion and Shere Khan the tiger have
the most unusual and unlikely friendship between them." ~ "Living with
the zoo's founders for the past eight years, Shere Khan, Baloo and Leo
have now moved to a purpose built habitat." ~ "Rescued eight years ago
during a police drugs raid in Atlanta, Georgia, the three friends were
only cubs at the time and barely two months old. They had been kept as

A mother tiger lost her cubs
A mother tiger lost her cubs due to
premature labour. Shortly after, she became depressed and her health
declined. She was later diagnosed with depression. Since tigers are
endangered, every effort was made to secure her health. Zoologists
wrapped piglets up in tiger-print cloth, and presented them to the
mother tiger. She now loves these piglets and treats them like her own.
